just finished reading skin and i must say its a lot better than ritual.then again ,with ritual i was expecting something really gorey like birdman or treatment.but after reading ritual i think i knew the subject matter would be tamer in skin . so i didnt feel let down as much. i think the development of flea is great  in skin as you get to see her darker side come out.and i also liked the introduction of her brothers girlfriend ,'mandy'(what a bitch!).i felt a bit let down with 'gerber' as i feel his character deserved more that the fleeting 2 or so chapters that he got but on the whole a thourghly enjoyable read.cant wait for the next book so i can find out if caffrey tells flea what he saw at no8 ,and also what happens with amos......... friend or foe?HuhHuh??
n1 mo look 4ward to the next instalment

I just ordered the book from internet.
Does Jack finally know what happened to his brother?
Does he fall in love with Flea?
I can't wait to read the book!

Yes, I agree Mandy is a total cow. I didn't like Fea's dark side as much in this book! I could accept that she took the action that she did but I think it was totally unfair to Misty's family as they would never have any closure. Mmm, I don't know if I like Flea as much anymore.

I think Skin was another cracking good read and some really interesting twists in character development for all. I also really liked Beatrice Foxton. I think she is a great sexy, real character. Oh, can't something happen with her and Caffery? Flea and Caffery are just too twisted for each other.

I found the dog scene a bit hard to stomach and the entire information about skin throughout the book was a bit stomach turning. It was quite a frightening book for me with the idea of being put to sleep by medical staff you trusted and NOT KNOWING WHAT THEY ARE DOING WHILST YOU'RE OUT. This is something I have often feared as I'm a veteran of quite a few operations. Plus, whilst I was reading the book I had terrible excema and I was literally peeling and dropping flakes of skin.

So I loved it very much and couldn't put it down as usual with Mo's books. How did everybody else find it? I'm sorry I took awhile to get here and say what I thought but I've had sick family members. I'm looking forward to hearing others thoughts on it and whether they had similar reactions to Flea as I did.

Another cracking read Mo. Can't wait for the next one and to see what the Walking Man is leading Jack to. Is he offering him life or death?

Hi just read skin which i enjoyed but unfortunately, nothing has come up to birdman so far.I dont like t
he budding relationship between Caffrey and Flea cos I love gore but not romance, or sex!
Can you please explain why you have started using americanisms in your writing e.g rv and white wife beater, what are these please.
Anyway good luck looking forward to your next book. hannah
