just finished reading skin and i must say its a lot better than ritual.then again ,with ritual i was expecting something really gorey like birdman or treatment.but after reading ritual i think i knew the subject matter would be tamer in skin . so i didnt feel let down as much. i think the development of flea is great in skin as you get to see her darker side come out.and i also liked the introduction of her brothers girlfriend ,'mandy'(what a bitch!).i felt a bit let down with 'gerber' as i feel his character deserved more that the fleeting 2 or so chapters that he got but on the whole a thourghly enjoyable read.cant wait for the next book so i can find out if caffrey tells flea what he saw at no8 ,and also what happens with amos......... friend or foe?
